New regulation for Indonesia, “Communication and Informatics Ministry Regulation Number 7 of 2018 (PM Kominfo No 7 Tahun 2018) ” just went into effect. It is confirmed that there will be no renewal process. If the product is still manufactured, assembled, or imported, or traded in the territory of Republic of Indonesia after three years (certificate’s validity) from the issuance date of the certificate, the applicant needs to re-certify the product again. This re-certification process will be counted as a new application, so the certificate number issued after re-certification process will be different from the first certificate number issued by SDPPI.Learn more about our International Approvals services here.
