The expansion of the Santa Clarita lab continues at a record-setting pace. The lab, which is renowned for space and military testing, invested millions of dollars in new equipment. Among the upgraded equipment a new T4000 dual shaker system. The new shaker system joins more than a dozen electrodynamic and hydraulic shaker systems at the lab—and allows engineers at the lab to increase max force capability by 33% (up to 80,000 force pounds). The Santa Clarita lab has played an important role in NTS’s rich history in space testing, which has included work on the Mars Rover, Space Shuttle, International Space Station, and more. With the new investment, the lab is able to continue supporting space and military programs. The investment also includes custom-made vibration testing fixtures and slip plates allow for testing of almost any shape and sized article. Digital control systems and multiple channel instrumentation simulate random, sinusoidal, SOR (sine-on-random), and other vibration environments. As you know, the engineers at Santa Clarita lab can create nearly any customized test setup for you. And with the new equipment, they can get you in the door more quickly. Click on the button below—and learn more about NTS’s dynamic and vibration testing services.Good Vibrations
